Skills in V0.6.10

I know I used it a bit late in the game (with the skill point I got at level 80), but I just got my first +1 HP from Increased Fortitude. Its a nice extra boost, but I'm also using my level ups to add +5 since there seems to be more and more creatures with critical hit ability.

I just used a skill point for Cleave and think its a brilliiant skill. Makes fighting 3 monsters at once much easier. As others have pointed out- later in the game this could be a very useful skill. Had been using QL for each level up but Cleave adds a real tangible bonus to attacks.

Combat Speed, Increased Fortitude, Quick Learner, Magic Finder, and Regeneration

those are the Top 5 skills...IMHO.

I don't think I listed all of this before, here's what I've got so far:

More Criticals: 1
Better Criticals: 1
Combat Speed: 2
Quick Learner: 4
Increased Fortitude: 1
Magic Finder: 10
Strong Mind: 1
Enduring Body: 1

Planning for 1 more Quick Learner at 88, and then the next 3 (92, 96 and 100) to get Cleave (Weapon Accuracy first, then Hard Hit, to qualify for Cleave, getting cleave at 100).

• Crude iron helmet

• Reinforced boots

Anything better available? (without quests and killing bosses)

I don't want to forfeit the CC at this point, but the Wooden Defender shield gives +1 on DR but takes -# on CC and AC.
Although this might have a quest that must been completed in order to get a chance to buy.

How long do you plan to go without completing the quests ?

I will complete them every now and then, but I plan to keep "sideless".
