Hi! First time poster. Traveled all the way to Remgard to get the crit hat, crit boots and get upgraded gear. Sided with Remgard, killed the witch but no items can get upgraded and I even removed my active gear. I did not even get the crit hat. Is there something I missed?

I saw her house first and killed the rats before heading to town. Was that a wrong move?

By the way what items can you upgrade and whats the stats of the crit hat?

the same guy who upgrades equipment sells a shield that he will then upgrade. there's also armor but it's sold at the Loneford guard tower. If you do a search there's a topic detailing what can be upgraded.

I wonder if there is any possibility to return the rats into their former persons? I accidently killed one rat though...

I am trying to find the quests involuntary carrier. Who gives you this quest? Ive, been all the way down the cavern till I reached the guardian it gives me the option to attack but then says some force is holding me.i can't find what or who actually gives you a quest
