Extraordinary & Legendary Item Question

Hi. Im new to the game. Been a few days now. i stumbleon this page while lurking and want to know if it really take that many monster kills to get a rols??

Technically it should take exactly that much, but if you're lucky or unlucky, it could take up to thrice that, or, like nyktos, you might be one of the ones who got a rols after accumulating 40 or so rock drops.

Good luck! It took me several months to get the set in my sig. The Magic Finder skill should help though.

do you have to accumulate the items that the monsters drop .. i.e the rock to get the extraodinary items...does it matter if you sell the rocks or whatever the monster drops ?

It doesn't matter what you do with the other items. Getting the legendary or extraordinary item is just a matter of luck.
