Lol sorrow. If I hit twice and get ten points and run and he heals its going to be a long battle. I will get him though.

I don't know that fight at all so there may be something different about it but usually, if you attack and then flee without it ever being the enemy's turn, they don't get to heal. That's why hit'n'run works. Take a mob with 300 HP. I can walk up to it, smack it 3 times (6AP of the 12 I have) for say 100 damage, then I can flee. I can run in circles for a bit or do whatever provided I don't leave that map and then when I feel like attacking again I charge in and as soon as combat starts I'll see that the 100 damage I did is still done leaving the monster with 200 HP except that now my AP is full again so I can once more attack 3 times and flee. Repeat this process once more (although this time since I think I can kill it in one more round I won't bother fleeing but I'll use all 12AP attacking just to make sure I kill it) and the monster will be dead without ever getting the chance to attack.

These are your stats?
What weapon are you using? It seems to me you got low AD for level 55 and not the best BC, too.
Would you mind posting what gear and skills you're using? :)

Sherfox thanks is not a big deal I will get some levels and up the AD I got different gear that boosts my DR to six. I've gained a few levels and will get a few more before I go back the beast will fall then I'm done and will be grinding for items waiting on an update. So I'm not in a big hurry.

Personally, I would switch your two rings for something else for the duration of the battle. Sure, RoLS are nice for general play, but that doesn't mean they are the best choice for every situation. I would use 2x Ring of the Protector, or 2x Villain's ring. Or, you could go with one of each. With one of each you would get a 14% boost to BC, a 45% boost to AC, an extra 3-9 damage per hit (so, assuming 2 strikes, then flee, 6-18 damage per round), and an additional 7HP. Those extra HP offset a lot of what you lose by not wearing the 2 x RoLS. Personally I would go with 2 x RotP though, to get your block chance up 28%. It heals when it hits you, so you need to reduce the chance of that happening. It has nasty actor effects too, that also occur when it hits you. Damage resistance will not help against either of those issues, only BC will.

You could even take advantage of both setups. Attack, flee, attack, flee, etc, until yo have lost too many HP. Then switch to 2 x RoLS to get the HP back up (without attacking!), then switch back to the other rings and attack / flee again.

I used 2 x RotP and 2 x Balanced Steel sword (best low AP weapon: AC 32%, AD 3-7) to beat it. It was hard though!

Thank you rijackson. I do have rotp and a villian's ring so maybe that will be the trick. I like you idea.

Since your AC and HP seem high enough, you could also try out the ring of damage +6.

Hira'zinn is DEAD...thank you all for the tips and pointers. Only 26 bone meal. Those green things kept respawning. I think I like the green maze. Some of the creatures give high xp. Kinda disappointed in the xp lodar gives. I think the reward should of been much higher. Easy quest gives tons of xp and the hardest one in the game gives very little. Just my opinion, but I guess I expected more. Would of also been nice to have a one way teleport out of the cave back to civilization. Please don't think I'm complaining, just my observations. I have very much enjoyed this game. Thank you to all that make this game possible. Looking forward to new updates.

Maybe I have a different mindset than you but the only thing you lose by using the RoLS is 4 HP per ring. You also gain 5% BC and 6 Crit while having 4-7 AD compared to 3-6 AD. I'd choose the RoLS every time provided you have them. Then again, considering it's a monster that deals actor effects and heals on hit, if I was having difficulty killing it then I'd probably swap to my Blackwater set in order to increase BC out the wazoo.
