Should the sword be restored

Hello Jade, and welcome to the forums.

It's up to you to choose whether or not to restore the sword. The game is not finished yet, so the consequences of keeping it or destroying it are unknown. There will be consequences though

Hit and run advice was a good advice indeed. I expanded the routine to Hit, run and save.
I saved after every time I hit some damage to this dragon thingie, so that when I couldnt flee, I was able to try again.

For the record I am 42. Balanced Steel Sword, JoF, Heavy skullcap, Superior Iron Shield, Serpent's Hauberk, Villains ring, RotP, Remgard boots, Heavy plated gloves.

I took him down when I was somewhere in my lvl 50s. Was doing like 25 damage per hit on him so he went down pretty quick. The first time I tried attacking him I was barely at lvl 30 something. Could only deal 6 to 8 and then he would just heal it. Second time he wasnt so lucky. I didnt need to back away from the fight and he got smacked.
