2handed fighter

Post by Typhous »

I was just wanting to try something different and was hoping for suggestions on building a 2 handed weapon fighter.

2 handed fighters are great to experiment with but I feel they lack an overall balance in comparison however I'd love to mess with the xul'viir as well

You won't get as many swings, two or three, so make sure they hit and hit hard, So, having a focus on AC and AD is probably a priority.

But, I really like Gleaming Claymore of Ruin. It's got a really nice AC, 35, Dmg, 3-7 and can inflict two conditions. one on you, strength +1 AD for 2 rounds, and one on the monster, Dazed, lowers their BC by 40 for 3 rounds!
And with 2 levels of combat speed and the Jewel of Fallhaven, you get 3 swings, which is awesome. Plus this weapon can do crits! It's a great weapon.

I agree. I have 2 builds utilizing two-handed swords. One uses this sword for all the reasons that Duke stated and the other uses the ELyR.
