Gear Ideas for different build styles

Here we have a few styles of gear for a couple of different playstyles. These are just examples, it is up to you to decide what you feel would be the best gear for how you play.


Damage Resistance:
Remgard Combat Shield (BC +11%, DR+1, AC -3%)
Serpent's hauberk (BC +14%, DR +2, AC +12%, CHS 8, HP +8)
Dark protector (BC +13%, DR +1, AD +0-1, Max HP -6)
Arulir skin gloves Or Chainmail Mittens (BC+ 7%, DR +1,AC -3%)
Boots of the guardian (BC +7% DR +1)
Necklace of the protector (DR +2, Max HP +5)
Jinxed ring of damage resistance (BC -9%, DR +1)

Total: (BC: +34%, AC: +6%, DR: +10, CHS +8, Max HP +7, AD: +0-1)

Critical Damage:

Strong wooden tower shield (BC+ 14%, AC -6%)
Serpent's hauberk (BC +14%, DR +2, AC +12%, CHS 8, HP +8)
Woodcutter's feathered hat (BC -5%, CHS +4)
Troublemaker's gloves (BC +4%, AC +7%, Max HP +1, CHS +4)
Bar brawler's boots (BC +7%, Max HP +2, CHS 4)
Venomscale amulet (CHS +7)
Ring of lesser Shadow (BC +5%, AC +25%, AD +4-7, CHS +6)

Total: (BC: +44%, AC +63%, AD: +8-14, Max HP: +11, CHS: +39, DR: +1)

High Block Chance (Defensive)

Wooden defender (BC +14%, DR +1, AC -8%, CHS -5)
Remgard chain mail (BC +25%, AC -7%)
Dark protector (BC +13%, DR +1, AD +0-1, Max HP -6)
Gloves of the guardian (BC +14%, AC -9%, CHS -5)
Remgard boots (BC +12%, Max HP +4)
Shielding necklace (BC +12% )
Ring of the protector (BC +14%, AC +20%, AD +0-3, Max HP +3)

Total: (BC: +116%, AC: +16%, AD: +0-7, CHS: -10, DR: +2, Max HP: +1)

NO. NEVER!!! Well, not never. The Marrowtaint is a great replacement.

maybe once damage factors are changed, where one could possibly do as much dmg swinging a 5 ap weapon as swinging a 3 or 4 ap weapon, then maybe those other necklaces might be useful.

These are just suggestions... I was only going for specific stats when making these up, I would use the Jewel of Fallhaven or Marrowtaint instead of the Necklaces listed above.

HEADWEAR: Enhanced Combat Helmet (AC:7 BC:6)
ARMOR: Serpents hauberk (AC:12 critical:8 BC:14 Dr:2 hp:8)
NECKLACE: JoF (AP:-1)
WEAPON: xul'viir (AP:6 AC:32 ad:4-15 critical:3 multiple:2.0 BC:12 hp:-2)
RING1: Ring of the Protector (AC:20 ad:0-3 BC:14 hp:3)
Ring2: polished ring of backstabbing (AC:21 ad:4 critical:7)
Gloves: Troublemakers gloves (AC:7 BC:4 critical:4 hp:1)
Footwear: Boots of the guardian (BC:7 Dr:1)
Total: (AC:99 BC:57 ad:8-22 hp:10 AP:5 Dr:3 critical:22 multiple:2.0)

I have build without JoF, idea is max bc (without taking any bc in lvl up), max damage with (without criticalls) high ac using heavy armiur and two-handed weapon

All the items you are using are very dark colored and kinda sinister looking.

.. against thieves and any religion (not sold my soul in cace of helmet or bonuses of shadow)... With lord geomyr in most of the caces...
