Current count- shadow gargoyle trainer:6017, shadow gargoyle master:3423, both rock and red gem 2200+.

It's why I don't grind for those fancy items. You have 9440 kills. That seems like a lot, but it only gives you a 61% chance of getting a legendary item.

Yes to many grinding may seem pointless, but once you have completed all available quests, one looks for new challenges which is fun and worth it. If u want to see all weapons/equipment go here, http://andorstrail.irkalla.cz/itemlist.php right now, of course, I'm after the RoLS which has a 0.01% chance of dropping from the trainers and masters... what I don't know is if that, that % is from them together or separate. But it is worth it

I wouldn't say it's pointless. The point is getting that extraordinary of legendary item. I would say it's boring though

I started a new character, as a template. So I didn't finish any quests where I had to take sides, or it might be controversial in some other way, and I only used skill points on key skills such as IF. I can then build new characters without having to deal with the early grinding every time. That character is level 16 now, and I'm close to parking it. I'm not sure what to do next, but grinding won't be it (famous last words )

If you kill a trainer or a master there is a 1/10,000 chance it will drop a RoLS. The chance of this happening is independent of any previous kills (chance does not have a memory).

Grinding is for some not for others it would seem, lol. I think it will be worth it when I finally get the RoLS but who knows lol if each kill is independent of the previous then I'm having pretty bad luck it would seem lol

Your luck (or lack of it) is about average (with that number of kills you had a 61% chance of getting the ring). However, I have to give you a very big thank you, because my luck is anything but average. After my last post, I said to myself, "I'm bored. I'll level up twice in the Gargoyle caves, and either I get a RoLS, or I don't". Well, 27 small rocks later. I got one . I can't believe it

Yes but the raper of life stealer is imps and the ring of lesser shadow is gargoyle trainers/masters. But but but I just got my RoLS! Final count- trainers:6301, and master:3573
