Nevermind got it fixed somehow i just loaded one of my previous saves and viola got passed west on the cave with rooted entrance......

I had a similar issue with blackwater...I wasnt allowed passed the screen of flagstone for a long time until I went to Remgard and got the quest for the potion. I have an lg Andriod 4.4.2 so the game is great although I seem to have run out of places to explore and as a lvl42 Herra wipes the ground with me.
