Andor's Trail

Greetings from an old fogey, and one time player of Mordor and Ascension (formerly Demise).

I'm not a natural gamer (if there is such a thing) but I played both of the above games a lot, and no others, I recently dragged myself into the 21st century with a smartphone and soon discovered Andor's Trail.

It's a much deeper game than I expected - hat's off to the designer/developer/coder/whatever for even starting the project.

OK, here's the first of what could be a whole raft of stupid questions: the Vorpal Blade was a weapon I used in Demise - it gave you seven swings and I miss it. The necklace *Jewel of Fallhaven* shows -1AP - does that mean if I have a weapon that takes 4AP and a ration of 10AP I'll get three swings per round if I use that necklace?

Correct. The JoF reduces the attack cost of the weapon to 3AP.

Thanks, I've spoken with Ailshara and they are being a bit coy about the amount of damage that dagger can do, I'm also a bit hesitant about the -20%BC, I try and avoid anything of that ilk, maybe that's wrong, (but like I said I'm not a natural gamer).

However, only 3AP and -1AP from the JoF gives 5 swings: that's not to be sniffed at.

Wait until you have 2 skillpoints on Combat Speed.

The quickstrike dagger + JoF is an epic combination

That's a combo that i end up using on pretty much every build that i have ever made
