Just wanna say hey to the forum. new here, but have been referring to this site for help here and there. So what do you LnG think?
Lv:30 . AP: 12/3 AC:168 AD:29-35 CHS:21 CM:3 ECC:15 BC:20 DR:1
BASE HP:50 BASE AD: 26 BASE AC: 80
IF1 Reg1 CS2 DW2 UNUSED1
Gold: 18796 Meat: 1157
27 QC 230 PV

EDIT: The much coveted Venemous Dagger is definitely NOT the best weapon in the game. Neither is Flagstones Pride or QSD. Duel Wielding something better already 8-)

Hello WolfBrother, and welcome to the forums.

Since you ask, your stats look good other than your BC, which is very low.

For dual wielding, QSD is not a good choice, because of the BC penalty. And you are right that for critical hits the Venomous Dagger and Flagstones price are not the best. What is the best is unique though, so you can only get one of them.

You can get high AC and BC from Blackwater Set + DW specialization + light armor and dagger/sword proficiencies. If I could roll back my level upgrades, I'd put all into +1 AD. And this is what you're doing, it seems.
Look at my stats on signature. I did spent level upgrade on AC like 9 times (+45%), now I have 304% AC, what is far much than necessary. 260%~ would be enough to have 90%+ hit rate on most monsters. I could have 52-58 AD now.
You can farm for RoLS killing Shadow Gargoyle Master/Trainers, while farming a lot of gold there, so you can buy better gear. I recommend two Rings of the Protectors, that you can buy on Crossroads Guardhouse with Ailshara.

Only available in Vilegard and Remgard iirc, but definitely recommended, they're my two usual goto rings which do get swapped around for others in special circumstances such as my recent excursion through the spider caves (an extra 10 AC from two Villain's rings).

yes I have been diligently raising my AD. Just turned L31 and starting on AC but thinking of BC to work towards Barkskin skill. currently, my equip is as follows:
leather cap, hardened leather shirt, JoF (of course), troublemakers gloves, Vac's boots, ring of backstabbing, polished combat ring, and what I consider my lovelies, dual villains blades :)
just got done messing around in Charwood. man it is no picnic! seems respawns are quite erratic there, but XP is amazing, although I burned about 25 BMP and only found 3/4 people for that quest :/

EDIT:Please forgive me my bad manners- Thank you all for welcoming me to the forum! :)
I have played a decent share of RPGs and this is definitely one of the more demanding ones. As far as my play, I am mostly unconventional and somewhat logical, so IMO you must find your niche whilst still adhering to the big picture. would have LOVED to brandish an axe and a warhammer, like my namesake, but it is just not very conducive to a successful adventure from what I've experienced so far.

Charwood is very hard.
The only that's place harder is "The Green Maze" (you will not see it called that anywhere in the game, but it is the name used on these forums).
Given your gear, I suspect there are other places you have not been yet. You may want to explore the river a little ;)

Respawns have the same behavior everywhere. In a few places monster behavior is different, so it can appear that the respawn is different, but it's actually not. Charwood is not one of those places. It's just hard

The game is still in development, and weapons are indeed unbalanced. We are working on that, but it is a very big project (because we do not want to change things and get it wrong a second time), so the fix will not be in the next release. Hopefully, the one after that though :)

rijackson741, you have my thanks. I agree it is daunting, and I am sure you are correct but it is an onslaught compared to other areas. I have been through a good bit of the green maze and I am in no hurry to return. I hate..... HATE anything that flies, in ANY game.Oskar did an impeccable job of annoying me to my wits end with the green maze. I can only imagine what other surprises he has in store since I am, at best, just above novice status. I have yet to visit Feygard..... cant actually access it yet.

On another note, I seemed to have cancelled out both Prim and BWM quests. if so, then so be it, but I dont seem to be able to reenact any type of business with the two areas. that is where I am now. was enjoying monkey-stomping the RFBs right before Charwood, but I seem to be a little ill-fit for that place right now

You can't get to Feygard yet. It doesn't exist (neither does Nor city: two more big projects  )

Yes, it is possible to choose to side with neither BWM or Prim. Once you choose that path, it's not reversible.

If you have exhausted BWM, go north of Loneford to the River, then head east. It gets increasingly difficult, but then it gets easier again. It's a long way, but if you go far enough it's worth it.

Also, east of Loneford, in a dried up lake bed, there's a cave. What is down there is very nasty, so keep some savegames!

Oh, you're right
I made a confusion with Villain Ring. I have one as well, but I mostly use my 2 RotPs.
