I forget now how those work - whether you can get multiple levels of weapon specialization or just one level per weapon type.

Hmm yeah I think I will also have to buy the skill for duel wielding daggers...since I also use a combination of daggers and swords...though I plan to farm my life away to get 2 RoL...what do you guys think wait until I get those 2 swords or buy the dagger upgrade?

Eh, I'm just using daggers, I'm also wearing a bunch of stuff to raise my DR. But now I'm searching all of Dhayavar for equipment that lowers AP costs. Got the Jewel of Fallhaven, and Marrowtaint. Currently wearing Marrowtaint. My goal is to lower my AP cost as much as possible while spending my skill points to raise my AP pool and lower costs. So yes, I'm gonna get Cleave!

You can get up to 3 levels of each. The first one is unusual though, because you don't have to spend a level-up skill point to get it, just the crystals. If you want more levels you have to spend level-up skill points, so you will have to decide if you want to do that, or get a different skill instead. I have not taken level 2 in any proficiency skill, and there's at least 3 skill points I'll spend elsewhere before even considering them.

That's up to you. If you are determined to get the swords (good luck!) spending on the dagger skill seems like a waste to me, but that's just my opinion.

Thanks, Richard! I'll figure out my priorities for skills when I get there. Right now my more immediate decision is whether to go for IF2 or Evasion 1 when I hit levell 20 on my current build.

My dear lady, Cleave is useless if you have to fight only one enemy. And if you fight at least two monsters you have to kill one of them to gain the AP increase. So Cleave is a skill which should be choosen wise. ;) ;) ;)

every skill needs to be chosen wisely, FWIW...
and cleave can save your life when mobs close in.

especially if you're built properly.
i don't have cleave in my current build, but i wish i did!

my vampire build was devastating & cleave was at the center of it's success.

Currently, the swarming mobs are generally in the tougher areas. I'm planning to wait on Cleave until I'm strong enough, and spend my skill points on other things early.

yeah, that's exactly the reason i didn't take it with my current build...
i really like the benefits - but there are more important skills that are needed early on.

Increased Fortitude & Combat Speed are huge from level 5-30
the prerequisites of Cleave (Weapon Accuracy 1 & Hard Hit 1) are the deal breaker for taking it early...
especially if you're trying to be efficient.

I got a question...for the RoL both Kazual Imps and Spawn drops small rocks...does that mean a Spawn can drop a RoL or those rocks that they drop don't count?
