That would be an incredibly bad bless, that couldn't redeem anyone. xD
DR isn't a great stat by itself (only on early levels), and only 1 DR is pretty nothing for a legendary item. It would be interesting if it was possible to mitigate a percentage of taken damage, instead of only flat DR values. That Bless, for example, could reduce 30% of all taken damage, so it would be nice against high criticals.

Ok, I'm seriously loosing my mind here. Ever since I read about the legendary items I really needed to get them. So, I've been trying to get RoLS first. I have killed 15000 masters/trainers and I've had Magic finder 1 since the first one and 2 for the last 5000. Please tell me these items really do exist and I'm just very unlucky :? :D

i had the RoLS after 19 577 kills with MF 1. so i was very unlucky too :D

With my current build I'm up over 5,000 SGM and still don't have one either. My other builds all received an RoLS before 3,000 meaning I've been very lucky until now. It all averages out.

Currently, that can't be part of an actor condition. It's a good idea though so I put it on the to do list. We could use a few more things that actor conditions can do. Currently, all of them, good or bad, are combinations of a somewhat limited number of effects (AC, BC, AD, DR, CS, AP, Attack cost, Move cost, Reequip cost, max HP, HP gain per round).
I'm glad you like the idea. It was just a spur of the moment thought :) Hopefully it doesn't prove to be impossible to implement from a coding perspective.

I find it interesting that the actor conditions are all based around character attributes but it's obvious now that you mention it.

To all newbies: Welcome to the forums!!!! As for RoLS... I stopped keeping track of kills after the first 300, all it takes is persistence and you'll get it. So relax, settle in, and kill, kill, kill! I recommend keeping your favorite beverage and a good book handy. Read only while waiting for beasties to respawn. Expect to be able to read 'War and Peace' by the time you get the RoLS, and you will feel as though you got it quickly when you do get it! ;)

I agree 1 DR is pretty bad, but 1 DR is worth much more than 5 AC as it is currently. I don't think DR is a bad stat whatsoever though. It saves you so much HP in the long-run that I find it very useful. 1 DR is certainly better than 1 Corpse Eater as DR blocks some damage every enemy hit.

I'm sure it is possible to place a conditioned stat where let's say 5 DR is added once HP goes below 25%. I like the evade idea as well, but that seems a little underpowered to me. I think it should sort of align with the name of the weapon "Elytharan Redeemer."
