Yeeeeah totally did that and already surpassed the level on my magic finder save lol
Gonna obviously do CS2 and maybe put one into dual wield, IF3 @ lvl35 & dual wield 2 @ lvl 36

About 1200 trainers/700 masters & still treasureless :D ...unless you count the 30k gold & hundreds of gems

Shadowfang, and it's extraordinary, not legendary ;)

You are aware that the actor condition is on you, not your enemy, right? It's an extraordinarily bad weapon :lol:
This is so terrible, why is there such a weapon? Fatigue is one of the worst actor conditions in the game... why not make it apply Fatigue to enemies instead? Rebalance the weapon, if necessary, like drop its AC and AD... it would be a very useful weapon, instead of an useless (or very, very situational) one.
I was wanting to get ShaF, believing that it would apply Fatigue to enemies, but now I'm let down :|

The extraordinary and legendary items that can only be obtained via rare drops were originally added to give dedicated players that had finished all the existing content something else to do. Quite a few players collect them. As such, they were not necessarily meant to all be powerful items, just unusual in some way. ShaF is particularly bad, but many of the others are not really that great either. That's not an entirely bad thing. For one, it's adds some depth to the game, in the same way that many rather useless shop items does. Not every item can be "the best item" ;) It also means that AT does not become just a grind fest, where the only way to a "good" build is endless grinding for very rare items. We already have a bit of a problem with respect to that for the RoLS. If you can get one, there is simply no reason to wear any other ring, so everyone wants one.

I like my RotPs. I'll end getting one RoLS because of the actor condition, but my RotPs are serving me pretty well. My base BC is 0%, I'm investing only in AC and AD, so I need to get BC from elsewhere if I want to have long combats.

RotP is a great ring. I have both a RotP and a PRoB, and switch between them depending on the situation (my other ring is, of course, always the RoLS).

The RotP is actually better to have than the Villain's Ring (if your build isn't focused around crits). It's stats are worth more when added up, which allows you to invest more level ups into AC than before.

Yeah. I do a simple calc to know the "level value" of an item:

LValue = HP/5 + AC/5 + AvgAD + BC/3

RotP has an LV of 3/5 + 20/5 + (0+3)/2 + 14/3 = 10.7666...

V'sR has LV of 4/5 + 25/5 + (3+6)/2 + 0/3 = 10.3

Because RotP has a higher LV, I say that it has more "worth" than V'sR.

(of course, this is a very simple and generalistic calc. In some builds and against some monsters, V'sR can work better than RotP)

That is exactly how I do it as well. However, regardless of your build you can always replace VR with RotP if you consciously place your level ups with this in mind. It is just called being efficient: you would have to put a little more in AC and AD but much less in BC. You throw this out the window if your build focuses on crits.
