Obviously you can use either should OR better in that sentence, but not both.
In this case I don't agree with you. When someone is speaking there is a lot of leeway. Spoken English is full colloquialisms, including ones that are technically bad English. "I should better go" is a surprisingly common phrase, even though it's poor grammar. Andor's brother evidently needs to spend more time in school, and less time running around killing puppies and the like, but until then he's allowed some bad English ;)
Huh, don't think I've ever heard that so it sounded really weird to me. Of course, I don't live in an English-speaking country either. Literally translated, this is a completely normal and correct thing to say in swedish, however.

I'll leave you others to figure out how to correct that whole "changing the ways" thing though, it's making my head spin every time I try to work it out.

I think it's more of an Americanism, and rarely heard in the UK. I can't be sure of that though, because I've lived approximately half of my life in each country, and the language lines have become a little blurred over the years.

Well, I'm american, and I've never heard someone say, "I should better go." I would prefer, "I should be going.", or "I better get going."

You probably have, you just tune it out because it's horrible English. Just Google the phrase, and you will find people discussing online whether it's correct grammar!

"I should be going", OK. However, "I better get going." should be "I had better get going." ;)

Well, you could be right, I don't recall hearing that phrase in Minnesota. We usually say, "damn it's cold out here, I gotta go!"

Anyway, I'd go with "I had better be going."

That's because you insist on wearing T-shirts in January

Yes, that's probably the correct version. I'm a scientist/engineer, so I'm not a great source for perfect English grammar

I have to disagree with you on this one. While it's great that NPCs speak each in their own way, the player should speak proper English. For RP purposes, Andor's brother should be neutral.

For Buceth, he might be trying soooo hard not to be specific that he could use a very convoluted sentence that is open to many interpretations. So convoluted that it could make little sense.

OK. So I'll add it to my other changes. I'll go with ""I had better be going.". I'll also check it doesn't crop up in any other dialogue trees, because there's a good chance that it does.

Perhaps, but that last sentence is really awkward. And Tomcat's suggestion of "ways" is much superior to "methods".

Agreed. I didn't mean to say the current sentence was good, just that the new one could be convoluted, and maybe using ellipsis to emphasize on the fact that he may be unable to find appropriate words.

When there are greater changes, how will the translation tool react? Is it possible to have set a revision flag or something like that?
