i think the female should be similar to the male, for a few reasons.
all i've changed so far is thinning it out in some spots & changed the hair a bit.
also added some clothing, for decency.

;)

still working on it, but thought it would be fun to share.
just kinda messing around because i still don't have my optimal setup...
but since this would only take one image to include in game,
then i figured, why not?

Please give up those pink bra of femala char... IMO chainmail like sill be much beter..

the one on the left is the one we are currently using in game.
just posted that to show the similarities & differences.

I think it works well, I like the little touches (smaller mouth etc.) that really makes a difference.

I've always meant to ask, why does our character have a Hellboy hand?

It doesn't look much like a bag to me, it has the thumb line of a boxing glove. Have you thought about trying to remove it?
