Heartsteal Should Get a Bonus vs Demons & Their Ilk

We've all been looking forward to the first weapons made of heartsteal since the master smithy hints at his ability to make weapons of the material, so let's make it special by allowing it bonus vs demons! It could be bonus to attack damage or percentage or something like that. Who's with me!!
Lvl: 196, XP: 13,700,094, Gold: 1,447,699, RoLS: 1, ElyR: 0, RoL: 1, ChaR: 1, GoLF: 0, ShaF: 2, SRoV: 12, VSH: 6, WMC: 0, GoW: 0
HP: 1081, AC: 400, AD: 106-122, AP: 4, ECC: 39%, CM: 5.75, BC: 213%, DR: 4

Bonus when fighting demons with Heartsteal. Heartsteal could have properties that demons detest, which could give a Heartsteal sword more damage out attack chance against demons.

Ive thought of this before... a bonus when fighting x type creatures/ or a bonus if water is nearby/ or a bonus if your in a cave or outstide. It seems to me like it would be a coding nightmare. Each enemy would need a ''type" and some would end up having 2 or 3 types. It is something that I think would be awesome, but it would be a very large task to undertake. I would love to see it happen, but it isn't something I am keeping my fingers crossed for.

I was basically questioning what you meant by demons. NPCs are already classified into types such
undead. So I thought you meant certain types of NPCs

Yes I did mean against certain types of NPC's. What else would you attack other than NPC's? I said demon types because I thought the cave in the dry lake bed were demons. Allacephs and their types.

Imho this ain't a coding nightmare, just start small. Will need a lot of balancing. Start with eff vs demons for example, just like immunity against criticals has been added. Would spice up the game a lot, at least.

That is boss then. Would it be easy to add a condition such as photosynthesis (+1 hp regen a round when outside/in sunlight)? I can just imagine... Elythara'a Flower Headress... maybe kazual can have one that adds +5 damage or something in caves/dungeons.

Nice idea. But off topic as far as the original post. What do you think of having Heartsteal add bonus attack vs demons?

I'm for adding creature/area conditional effects in general. Your idea sounds pretty cool too.
