THE PSYCHOTIC ARMAMENTS [Revisable Entry]

Here is the modified set! I have not yet had the time to make all calculations, but they'll come soon enough.
Pardon all the SPOILER-tags; I figured it would take a little less space and make maneuvering a little easier (just open all tags if you want to see all equipment and stats at once).

EDIT: Decreased BC-value of armour by 6 pts. Decreased DR-value of armour by 1 pt. Increased DR-value of boots by 1 pt. Put another -10 on the HP-penalty of the boots.
EDIT 2: Added a new condition ("Distraction") on Iron Gloves of Anger. Slightly increased the effect of "Frustration".
EDIT 3: Moved this post to the top, and the original post to entry #6. Figured it would be easier to check progress.
EDIT 4: Changed the AC and BC penalties in Distraction to a DR penalty.

the ideas are awesome and just needs some tweaking. increase 1AP in sword and remove the effect of restoring hp. and don't decrease attack cost in insanity because even +10AD is already too much.
and also remove +2AD from the helm.

for the evil aura choose b/w» 50% chance that enemies not attacking while not in combat or 50% chance that enemies of a map are more hostile and can attack if in combat or not.
anyone you choose will solve two problems, first will make the movement easierand fast through maps and the second will make the grinding easier.


and there is +4DR in plate of wicked if I combine it with bark skin5 then total DR will 9 isn't it too much.

and also decrease some hp per kill because if combined with corpse eater it will be way op.

I hope you also gonna bring some nice gloves :D

It is a major work-in-progress, and I appreciate the feedback!
I will try to make it at least 6 pieces for the full set (With set-bonuses at 4/5/6 pieces)!
I hope you've taken into account the calculations of the combined effects, too!
*I will consider the AP for the sword, but I can not guarantee that I will increase it. I might modify other stats to better balance it.
* The 0-1 HP regen. will remain, but I might edit other stats for balance (or move it to set-bonus).
*The AC for insanity will continue to be negative; as it represents wildly swinging your weapon without actually aiming. I might even bring it down another -15.
*The DR with combined effects is actually negative (-2). The Armour's high DR is to balance it out :-) But I should bring it down one point.
*The AD-bonus for Insanity will be nerfed :-)
*The HP per kill will also be nerfed (thinking 1-3hp per kill).
*The Evil Aura will be the 5% of enemies not attacking their turn (that's 1/20 turns). The idea is that anyone standing before is in a fearful awe of your perfect evil!

I am not by my computer now, so I will edit the set as soon as I am :-)
I might even add gloves and boots then, too!
I will revise the build tonight or tomorrow morning!

Please do leave suggestions for other new psychological Actor Conditions to aid my weary imagination ^^

EDIT: Or the effect of "Evil Aura" could be that there is a constant 5% chance that the enemy will not attack on its turn!)

Observe that you may compliment the set with rings and necklace, so the stats are not absolute :-)
If you haven't invested in HP or Increased Fortitude, you're going to have a bad time wearing the set ;-)

EDIT: Do you guys think that Crit Skill should implemented in other pieces of the set, too?
Or should Crit be excluded entirely?
I was wondering if perhaps Misery should have a different effect entirely. If it keeps the Crit-penalty, I believe some crit points should be added in other pieces as well.

you are going in a good direction lunatic, but just remeber that player will not be forced to wear all the stuff at once so there is a lot of potential of deadly combos with 1or 2 items out of your set.

I am highly appreciating your efforts and hopes that you also mind individulity of the items alongwith the combined effects of these :D.

sorry, I'm lacking time atm so hopefully I will give you some nice actor condition ideas with cool names :).

Yeah, I'm trying to take that into account as well as I can. That's why I'm trying to balance out the individual bonuses with penalties. Still a long way to go, though ^^
I'll heed your point and focus a little on individual item revising to make sure they're balanced in measuring other eq!
Thank you very much for your interest in the project! :-)

I will probably remove another DR from the armour, so that the individual value isn't so high. But to balance the set, I will place that point on another one of the pieces. With such a huge HP-penalty, the DR is necessary for it to be balanced (and it barely gives any AC or AD).
Anyhow; I'll see what I can do :-)

EDIT: I am aware that the stats and effect of these items are about the top of current items, but new items should be a little better than the existing, since they would be implemented later in the game. Keeping items at the existing scale would not change anything other than new names in the list :-p So they should be competing withthe current top items :-)
(Not that I expect these items to actually make it into the game, seeing as it is just a fun project ^^)

EDIT 2: My idea behind the huge HP-penalty and other effects for wearing the set is that psychological illnesses have a huge negative effect on your overall health. They make you introvert, raising your defenses (metaphorically) and influence people around you, along with yourself, in many negative ways.
These items take away all good things in you, they warp you, and continue to push your mind to its limits until the day it consumes you.
These items should be purchasable using Oegyth crystals (1 per piece) and a huge amount of gold. The seller would not actually want you to have them and therefore puts an insane price on them, expecting no one to actually be able to afford them. I would also like to hear any ideas for a quest (or multiple quests) necessary to unlock this opportunity!
