Got to 3000 with still no ChaR. Got bored, decided to switch to ShaF just outside the cave...the kill count doesn't show up unless it reaches top 5, so don't know how many I've done so far. Someone posted that the monster names are in the save files in clear text, but all I see when I open one in my phone is Chinese characters with a few other graphic symbols mixed in. Perhaps I would need to change my encoding?

I've been working on this for ever. Over three builds I have yet to get an RoL. Three builds! I've spent so much time and energy killing Kazul Imps with my characters that they should each retire and start training other player characters... any way we can build them into NPC's?

Remember that L&E items were added basically to give people something to shoot for when they were done with all the current maps and quests.

My advice is to build for the regular stuff, and either enjoy grinding for L&E items for the spice, or just leave them alone. They shouldn't be a factor in how you set up your build.

This is my first try at getting anything but RoLS. Not sure I'll bother completing the set.

But very curious to see what the Ring of Greater Shadow might be ;)

Install a binary file editor or viewer, such as this one: https://play.google.com/store/apps/deta ... tuba.tools

Open the file, and scroll down until you see the monster names on the right. These are actually the internal ID for the monsters, but they are usually close to the display names. These are towards the end of the file. You will see something like this:

That was actually captured on my PC, so what you see on your phone will be similar, but not identical. Each character on the right corresponds to a two digit hexadecimal number in the middle. Locate the monster name and the hex numbers associated with it (highlighted in the image above). Following the name are four more two digit hex numbers that give you the monster count. In this example they are 00 00 1b 5d. Convert that to decimal, to get 7005 kills.

I've got a build duel-wielding RoL. Well worth the grind.
