Andor’s Trail Project Meeting #14

Present: Oskar Wiksten(oskar.wiksten), Scott Devaney(sdevaney), Matthew White(nyktos)

1. Follow-up from last meeting:
Will address some things in the next meeting when everyone is available.

2. Completed since the last meeting:

Finished first draft of logcat tutorial.
TODO: Scott: Post it to the forums.

Oskar: Added “.nomedia” file to directory with worldmap screenshots (will make the images not appear in galleries)

Added setting to disable UI animations. Affects combat bar, toolbox and actor condition animations for now.

Cleanup of git history: git rebase FTW :)

3. Things that are being worked on:

TODO: Oskar: share some screenshots of the colormatrixfilter test.

Started major refactoring on how actor stats are being stored & calculated.

Scott: “Feng Office” installed. We’ll try using it some more.
TODO: Scott: create tasks for the quests that have been started.

TODO: Scott: Re-share the maps from Dave that are done.

4. Discussion of some forum threads/posts that people have found interesting, or want clarification on, or maybe a question answered:

Restock merchants on current map after 3min? - Should we really?
It is a little more believable for them to refresh when you are away than standing right next to the merchant and they refresh almost as if by magic.

TODO: Oskar: Add “signs” for all places where we use tombstones/graves.

5. What should we have ready for the next meeting?

Stuff left to do on the alpha before we can release it to Google Play:
- Graphics glitch
- Easy fixes (in this document)

Brainstorm:

Add a ‘Are you sure?’ check before overwriting save slots/deleting games.
TODO: Oskar: Make the overwrite dialog box pop up even when saving over a game with the same playername.

Here's a link to one of the backgrounds I used http://desktop.bhist.com/214-Fantasy_lo ... ackground/ - Not really sure if we can use them.

I'm working on ensuring the background images are (unique/free), will see how I get on with that...
