:!: Alright, so now I see why the original dirt paths are like they are. Editing the grass tiles the way I have been doing has failed:

So the right side angles are done with the Version 2 edits on the original post. As you can see in this blown up image that the angles match except when it goes straight, then it has an empty spot...so I moved the tile in order to better match that angle...

...and the left side is what I get. The angle going straight is now correct as it allows for the gap, however, the tiles are now moved in closer to the center that I would need to make additional tiles to cover the very small gaps in between each 45 degree angle.

I have 2 options here:
(1) Create the corner pieces...10 additional tiles per base ground tile (grass/sand/snow/light grass)
(2) Create the T-intersections for the original dirt path, then copy the layer effect for all "path" tiles.

I would appreciate some input on this please as I would like whatever I edit to work for everyone :?
