AT worldmap with reserved areas for future updates

Luckily we have finally got the in-game worldmap! I'm so happy about that! :D

BUT: If anyone wants to create maps he/ she really needs to know which areas are still not reserved for other mapmakers. I've only reserved the areas from which I know somebody is already drawing something.

Feel free to reserve an area for you. :)

This a rough sketch of the AT world which includes Oskar's plans. Many of the areas haven't been drawn so far so it should be easy to find a space where you can draw. The named locations will definitely exist so you can't draw something else there.

And here is the actual tiled worldmap in which I've marked the reserved areas with blue color.
Even if some of the new areas are close to be finished I didn't place them in the worldmap because I don't want to spoil. I've also reserved the real Blackwater mountain area because I'm just trying to place this area in the in-game worldmap.
Additionally, I marked the towns/ villages/ locations in red color which will definitely exist but haven't been created so far (only approximate location).

Please note: The map shared and displayed for player and contributor benefit does not have the world boundary line shown at this time. It is possible that as development continues, the size may grow to accommodate additional content. Currently, this is the world of Andor's Trail.

That was so necessary. Thanks Ian for setting this up.

That pic host doesn't work for me. You couldn't attach it because it was too big.
You can try to downsize it by scaling it down, and saving it as a JPG instead.

I also suggest adding the name of the "reserver" on each area, so that we can keep track of who asked for what place, and release areas reserved a long time ago by people that since went missing.

I've superposed Oskar's sketch with the current worldmap (as displayed on Andor's Trail directory, so no Prim nor BWM yet), and saw some differences.

I started redrawing that sketch, but I focused on respecting the existing content, so I didn't fill any holes in this one. I will for the more "complete" one.

I keep this all as a Gimp XCF file, using layers for existing vs future, and editable text for the locations. I may make that XCF file available at some point.

Neat. This actually looks like Oskar's drawing but a updated to our current state. ;)

Btw, I've made a small update on the reserve-worldmap

Edit: @Moerit: I placed the Arulir mountain a little bit more to the north as you suggested.

Here is what I could come up with trying to merge the one I drew earlier, Oskar's sketch, and the reserved areas.

There are many holes to fill, and nobody should consider this as "set in the stone".

Wow again this looks great! We should really try to fill the space between the maps with content in the future. I'm willing to do that but at first we have to release the next version and I'd like to work on Mt. Galmore. But I'll definitely fill up some space. :)
