it's a sad state of affairs...
i tried to do as much as i could without looking like a noob.
but, i have hit a wall. Ian would make fun of me if he frequented the forums...

(artist & writer here, not a computer person)

i do know how to google stuff & fix things that are reasonable.
but i hit a speed-bump...

[you're gonna laugh]

im running XP & the Java Update that's recommended warns me...
it says my OS isn't supported - DUH! (on XP over here)

so, i just feel like ignoring it & continuing the update and install,
is that a foolish, or "noob" move?

I thought my Windows 7 was getting outdated. Um, do you have a choice? I would do it.

Well, ATCS should work with a reasonably old java version (Java 6, current is Java 8).
However, running XP and an old java is an open door to hackers.....

I still haven't gotten to the new update, but this is really a great tool. Ur right nyktos. That shows you have been out for quite a while.

That one was though. I'm very proud of the new tool: the Dialogue Sketch. More on this later. :ugeek:
It also includes a rework of the JSON exporter, so that the order of fields and elements is preserved, and should now yield consistent files, more easily compared. I still have to run all existing content through the new exporter once to set the landmark though.

So, the Dialogue Sketch tool. The main idea is to quickly create dialogues, with as little contact with the mouse as possible.

I'd really love your feedback on this one.
I just love looking at ATCS updates!

I personally consider it an impressive project on it's own, and if I ever use JSON in a different new game I'm definitely modifying ATCS to work with it.

It just keeps on getting better!
ideas plox
