Lovecraft's works are all public domain as far as i know! Barne's and Noble released a Complete Works of H.P. Lovecraft (Which is AWESOME!!) They release a lot of classics that are Free Domain and also do a lot of "complete works of...." books for famous authors.

2 of my favorite free pieces of literature:

Alice's adventures in Wonderland
and
Through the Looking Glass

is anyone else seeing these garish ads?
the banners are bad, but the pop ups are a tragedy.

i would offer to pay to keep this forum AD FREE,
but i'm about as poor as a starving artist comes!

maybe we can start a fund raiser to keep the forum clean for a year?
Andor's Trail is NOT about money, nor is it about profit...
but i'm thinking we might be able to bolster enough support to clean this mess up?

:D

i haven't talked to Scott yet though, so maybe this is just a hiccup???

Disabled ad blocker plus just to check and still don't see any ads. Must be something on your end - either your computer or your ISP.

1) Check your addons - you probably have some toolbar installed that you don't really want. Often this is all it takes to fix the problem.
2) If step 1 wasn't enough then start running some anti-malware (including virus/rootkit/adware/spyware) scans on your computer. I recommend using multiple products one at a time and keep cleaning repeatedly until you can run all of them and they all come up clean. There are quite a few products that have free versions which allow you to manually scan which is all you need for now. The paid versions typically just add preventive protection as well as scheduled and automatic scanning. Search terms would include "online antivirus", "free anti-malware", "antivirus scanner", etc..

On a windows computer, these days, I would recommend the MS Security Essentials, free, hassle-free, not a resource-hog.
If someone told me I would recommend this 5 years ago, I would have laughed hard, but here they are.
