Variable dungeon boss

Just once, I'd like to play a game where if you defeat a specific dungeon boss, you have to take his place. Either...
a) A copy of your character appears as that boss in all subsequent downloads and the existing downloads get automatically updated with the new boss.
b) When a player goes to face you, you get a message telling you about it and you can login to fight them in PvP.

That's what I want to do in an MMORPG I'm devising called Mancers. In Mancers you can claim a territory and build your own towns, dungeons and quests there. Players would have to summon you to the boss chamber to fight you. If you're busy you can tell them to come back later.

Ha, I wish it could be so interactive. The only games that I know of that are so interactive are Wakfu and the Life game where you earn real money in game and exchange it for US dollars, etc.

Well, if I can get someone to help out... then maybe it can be done?

For AT? I'm sry. This game does not support interactivity amongst player. It is not MMO or MO for that matter.
Edit: It's not even O...

It is possible to replace a boss with another, different one. It is not possible to spawn a copy of yourself as a monster though.

PvP will never happen, because it would require a server.

That sucks. But at least you can create a dungeon that has a new, tougher boss each time the player enters the dungeon! Each boss would drop a better item, or a better version of the same item.

Edit:

Don't look at me! I wasn't the one talking about doing that with AT!

To a degree. Each bigger, badder, boss has to be created by hand, so there's a upper limit to what is practical. Interesting idea though :)

I assumed that (b) in your initial post was a proposal for that.

So would each item, thus the last such boss would have the best version of the item!

S'ok... I figured (a) might spawn a few ideas, or at least fuel the creative energies of content creators. While (b) was just an add-on thought about games in general, since the intended tone of the entire post was in reference to games in general.

Reminds me of Pokemon. You beat the gym leader, you become the gym leader (if you want). There is an upper limit but theoretically no. However, it is not for beginners, it's late game. Wakfu is based on community principles. Different factions control their own resources, climate, creatures, etc., for anyone in that faction to utilize.
