It still doesn't work for me. Is there something that needs to be cleared before it will work?

That map is out of date. You should not start any maps without asking about a particular spot, because it may already be taken or part of a plan.

As with everything with AT, content gets done when it gets done. A couple of the people mentioned on that map are no longer active, and in the case of Raner, we do not have any of his maps. All the other blue areas have maps that are at least partly done.

You are correct. There are a couple of maps missing, including the stairs.

Jax, I did not say I was starting any maps. I was asking the currently active individuals mentioned on the map if they can give a guess as to how long we may have to wait. Also, I was asking what are the plans for the areas in red on that second map you linked to in this thread... not counting Nor City and Feygard. You really should read my words more carefully Jax.

My comment was a response to "I like that because now if I have a problem with an area I know who to blame.", and " I'm also curious of the areas not yet assigned (according to the maps linked) have they been assigned since then", which I took to mean you were at least considering it, but it was also meant as a general warning to anyone else that might read too much into that map.

The other red areas are not assigned to anyone, but they are pretty much cast in stone.

There is another, much more detailed, planned map. What is shown on the one Ian posted are just the new areas that are locked in, either because maps are already being worked on (blue) or because those things just have to be where they are shown (red). There are sketched out plans for almost everything else, but they are malleable (some less malleable than others of course).

Well I'm not ready to try my hand at map making just yet, but I will probably want to in the future. For now I'll be content with finding out where that rat tail rejecting guy went after leaving Crossglen. I keep trying to systematically search every town, but something always causes me to exit the game then I forget where I've already searched by the time I get back to it. Silly huh?

He appears, more or less, in order of places you are likely to go to if you played the game through from the start. He's hard to spot sometimes though. That's especially a problem if you have already played the game all the way through, because talking to every NPC all over again is a PITA. If you can't find him PM me and I'll give you a list of places (too much of a spoiler for here, even in spoiler tags)

He will generally be close to a place where you can get the items he's looking for. IIRC, he's always in the open world (main world map).
