The wife and I have been watching Outlander (Sassenach) and have been enjoying it quite a bit. It's got a nice mix of Scottish folklore and Christendom woven into a tale of time travel. I'll leave it at that as any detailed description will give things away. Anyhow, it's a very good take on the books that spawned the series and it's certainly different from a lot of what is on TV these days. The only problem is that I have to regularly roll the episodes back in spots as the Scottish accents are a wee thick, though bonnie.

What are those weird powers Mooney has then, they really made me think of poison...?

She's not even from Batman. She was a character they made up specifically for Gotham. They named her Fish because Penguins eat fish... so Penguin killed her... but then Dr. Strange brought her back using an adaptation on Mr. Freeze's formula. Which gave her that power... it's derived from the DNA of some sort of fish (fitting). But then she got free, captured Strange, and is trying to get him to stabilize her. If he can't, she'll die... again. I'm just wondering how they're going to explain what possessed Gordon to name his daughter Barbara, after the experience he's had with his psycho ex of the same name!

Edit:
Further, Ivy was touched by another of Strange's escaped test subjects. An old man who's touch accelerates the target's ageing. Now she's got the body of a hot 20-something red head and is starting to use plants to make perfumes that get men turned on and stuff.
