How to add stats to posts.

I am wondering how the different people add their stats for AT to their postings. Is there a trick to it or what?

No trick. Just manual edition of one's signature. You can change it in your profile page. Just click on your name at the top right.

Here's an lil more detail on that just in case:
Click your name in the top right
Click Profile
Click edit profile
Click edit signature
Write in your stats! (Keep in mind that there is a 255 character limit which can make it difficult to fit everything in without abbreviations)
