Just for a bit of fun, here's something I ran across in a training thread from the salle I attend. Thought you all would like it.

Confirms what i learned during my years fencing: fencers are jerks.
But fencing, whether artistic, medieval or olympic is truly awesome to practice.

They can be

And it is! I've stopped playing hockey and pushed myself full on into fencing. First, it's safer and my wife likes that; second, it's a great workout; third, it keeps the mind very active.

I'm more for bows. I had archery for therapy in school.
But I can ride, at least when I'm 30 kg (60 pounds) lighter and not taking an anticoagulance (to most known as Marcumar, but I have something else) anymore.

I'm an archer too. My dad brought me to the range and taught me to shoot when I was 4. I even performed in an archery exhibition at a local mall. Though its been a while since I've even held a bow, let alone shot one. One day, my current troubles will end and I'll finally be able to do some travelling... then I'd like to go around the world learning every bowman technique in person from the traditional types of teachers.
