bigger d-pad

if i had a bigger dpad than i could go to different places easier and faster if you play tibia me mmorpg than that has a good sized dpad

I couldn't imagine it needing to be bigger on my droidx. I play in landscape now with the d-pad. Adjusting the transparancy would be really nice though.

That would work... Another thought I had was to have the d-pad built into the screen borders... Rather than the guided-missile movement that we have now... I've used the d-pad, and honestly, it's too small for my fingers

I like the first "model" and Quarter Opacity looks promising, maby even one more Opacity ?

This is an excellent idea... give us borders which are movement buttons:

The 8 areas around the outside edge would be purely for movement. I guess this would be a third method since I'm sure some people will still like screen movement and some will still like the d-pad option but I could definitely go for something like this where the borders are not transparent... they're purely for movement and nothing else.

fresh ideas are one of the best parts of open source! good stuff.

it will make the new magnitude numbers (on the Actor Condition Icon) easier to see.

I like d pads because I have problems with my thumb and playing with my other hand is awkward. However I dislike the movement because it's awkward for me. Not as fluid as just gliding your thumb everywhere.

So I had an idea. What about an option for a circle like dpad. Picture a joystick but just a flat 2D circle that has a limited range of movement all around. I kind of like that idea since you move your thumb a bit less :)
