I just tried this with the dagger proficiency and it does NOT apply to both daggers. Only the one in the main hand.

I disagree it stacks. I just tried it with dagger profiency 3, dual wield 2, specialization dual wield1. Tested with 2*Shadowfang and i got +192% to AC....

That is not what is in question here. Duke asked if the 1-handed proficiency skill works for both swords when equipping 2. I tried this with swords without dual wield and I don't see the 1-handed benefits gain on the offhanded sword.

hmm... i feel that im bit stupid but i need to ask... Who is stupid enough to use two weapons without dual wielding skill ?

That's not a stupid question saru. And if your trying to have duel weilding character you may start out early with no sp in duel weilding. Also Havering the 1h sword pro would be negated if you have no sp in duel weilding only by adding sp to duel weilding I would think will you then see the effects of 1h sword pro.

I'm using dual wield with the Dagger of the Shadow Priests and the Rapier of Lifesteal. My Pro: Dual Wield 2, Specialization dual wield, dagger prof 3, 1 handed sword 2, weapon accuracy 1. I will be putting more points in weapon accuracy to get my AC up higher than my current 316%. With the RoL, I only get 3 swings per turn instead of 4, but I gain so many hp that I almost never need healing. I think this is a better than fair trade for the loss of a swing. With cleave, I might get that other swing too
