Shop that trades in Legendary/Extraordinary items

I think the shop can be an unlockable type of thing, perhaps tied to a quest.

It could be through someone in the thieves guild. If i recall right you have to at least enter the thieves guild to make progress on the main questline. It makes sense that someone who masters in thievery would have a seemingly endless supplies of L/E items.

And I would like it to be a one stop shop. If someone has an extra Leg. item they should be able to trade it so they can get extraordinaries they need. You should be able to get ext. Items with leg. Items, but, not the other way around.

Whats the point if it doesn't stop you from grinding? More grinding it would seem. Just imo, but it is good idea.

i posted a simular idea to this about having a pawn shop trading in all items including leg and etx items.

I like the idea to connect this opportunity to a quest and maybe a thieves guild membership. Guilds added to the game could make a big improvement as well as more clear, seperated pathways of character development. Maybe later on in-character trading, or will AT never depend on internet connections like that?

A main goal of the dev teams is to keep the game size small and not need many permissions. So... I doubt any "online" related features will be added, but it is always a possibility. Plus I'd only want to trade between my characters anyway.

I wouldn't mind being able to trade in between my characters.

The only problem i see with that is that a player could start builds that are made just for farming L + E items or for gold.

Make a player high enough level and don't use the Skill Points, SAVE,
Use one copy to play as normal
Use another copy for getting gold (High level Treasure hunter and merchant)
Use another copy for getting Legendary and Extraordinary Items (High level of Magic Finder)


we would have to find a way to make it so players couldn't split files because creating multiple files of the same player could make it so once you found one ring, you could give it to all your builds. (same with the other L + E items)

That makes sense Pyro, one ring could be "exploited" into 50 in a matter of minutes. Make it so you cannot trade with two players of the same name. But some people have learned how to change their name so I'm not sure if that would be plausible.
