how would you compensate for D.R. Love Defender stone(2dr). I just can not waste DR for sale.

Bark skin is never available as I start the game running. I need something like 30% base block. Only time to see it shown was the very first time I played. By far the strongest build I have seen. I just can't remember how. Should It be stupid to buy to buy sturdy leather curaiss and 2dr necklace since I have 246 a.c. to spare and a fortune in gems stash at home.

what should I do to keep at least 2 dr, w/out the Jewel? Too late to start increasing b.c.! If I start anew, should I use lv. ups for block since you can buy most a.c. I can't figure the advantage of using the jewel with QSD knowing I can extra a.p. soon w/skills. sturdy leather curaiss is nice with 1 skill pt. in Combat speed. After the 2nd, I should have that wonderful serpent armour. Right? What about Unzel's boots? do they offer any d.r.? I can't remember. HELP!!!!!!!

Well, generally what I think people do early on in order to get DR, is using the Jinxed Ring, Hardened Leather Shirt and Irogotu's neckace; each of those gives one. The only boots that give DR are the Boots of the Guardian.
