I agree. I got sucked into the whole Angry Birds craze, but after a while it was just repetitive. I tried the fancy racing games but I unless they end up with Mario Kart (I suppose I could try an emulator) those lost my interest too (also didn't feel the tilt controls were accurate enough to warrant having cliffs you could fall off of).nyktos wrote:the wait will be worth it!!!
MOST android RPG's are a flippin TRAGEDY...
AT is head & shoulders above the rest. (imo)
the ones with flashy graphics & music just get boring and i stop caring.
it seems the best android games are made by working folks...
making fun games in their time off - and listening to players feedback.
[there is only one other RPG development team that fits into my prior statement]
and i have been scouring the market, trust me
i think its funny when i stop playing a game that looks to belong on a DS or a PSP
and come back to AT (or other indie android games with less audio visual "flair")
its ALL about content and passion - not pumping out pretty looking junk games & charging $ too?!
my point is, i cant wait for more AT content!!!
and i have alot of respect for everyone who contributes - again, thanks for the hard work!
RPGs are the way to go! But some (maybe starting with a Z) don't let you open explore and force you into quests based on your level. Which is why I love AT. The only other game I still go back to is also an RPG, with similar attributes (skill system, you can wander anywhere for the most part, the developers respond to e-mail and on their forum). AT has another plus for me in that there's no level cap, and while I also look forward to the next update, wanting more skill points is enough to keep me playing until then.
