How did you get past that fence?? Did you have to rely on tons of saving and luck?

If you combo the Cowards boots and the Villains armor you get -2 to flee which makes it easy to stab, run, and repeat

exactly - plus a potion of speed, then i took out the one on the right...
quaffed a BMP & 'ran' to the spot where he was standing.

making it go from (3 on 1) to (1 on 1)
reloaded a few times at the 3/1 but thats legal. 8-)

From everything you guys have written shout this level one challenge, it looks like I have been vindicated when it comes to the difficulty of AT. Nobody should be able to get as far or be as successful as you guys have been at level one if the game was balanced. So many people have commented on the difficulty and have made suggestions to make it easier while I always argued to make it harder.

Perhaps we should take into account experience which counts for a great deal. No way could someone new to the game achieve the same results. IMO the game is quite well balanced but I hope it gets much harder in future releases. I mean how many people have posted "I cant get past...." and ask for help on this forum.
Also if we read into how they are doing this at level 1 its a very slow process involving planning and strategy.

I have been planning and utilizing a strategy since day one.
I don't think it matters one bit if they did or not. Getting to the Iqhan gave at level one while completing all quests should be almost impossible.
in a lot of ways, I wish I hadn't farmed/grinded for the legendary items as doing so has made me way to powerful.
But seeing that a level one can do it makes me feel slightly better.
RPG's should be difficult, not that AT. isn't, but I needs to be more.

I am off topic so I will stop..sorry.

tek, piggy is right... the techniques wouldn't work if we were sloppy.
we are both taking different approaches to meet the same ends.
i would not have issued the challenge if i hadn't thought it out in advance.

you must also consider that playing this way is NO FUN to most people.
it is tedious & frustrating, the funnest part being completion.

its not a good example of AT's difficulty, it is an example of our tenacity.
i also agree that this game could be harder - but dont use us as examples
pyrizzle & i have problems that only hours of AT per day can "fix"

some of my insight...
grind & gear up till 12 - quest for best gear till 16
get the dagger @ 16 & clear BWM by 20 - wait for update
this is casual, well thought out game play and can be done in 12 hours.
[better example of difficulty] 8-)
(none of that hit, run & save junk)

Revival!

I started a new level one build and this one is hunting the ROLS.

Still getting my gear together, i am almost set for the long haul in the caves. Wish me luck!
