Very interesting, I might have to give that a try. what about boots of the guardian (for the DR) or the heavy plated gloves (for the dmg and HP)?

I prefer the Remgard boots over the guardian boots because of the additional bc is better than 1 DR.
I prefer the worn plated gloves for 2 reasons. Well one really. The dazed actor condition! The Gleaming claymore of ruin also provides this condition. They work well together.

Ah ok. And what does "dazed" do?

Lowers NPC's BC by 40%. Really nice for defensive minded builds.
