I've tested on a low end device & a mid range device, and they both breeze through map handling events - no issues at all.

That is great. I was unsure and wanted to suggest an alternative if it happened to be an issue. If it ever does become an issue then this might be an option to look into.

Regardless, the new world map is Uber-Pimp! :mrgreen:

The idea for having NPCs that flee and heal is a great one! I really like this concept. Great idea!

LOL, it wasn't my idea :D

I just read the meeting notes, saw this was brought up, and thought this might help determine one way it could be done. Scott, Oskar, and all the other programmers probably know a much better way.

Of course I am not a Java programmer, but logically it works...perhaps only in my mind...lol

From what i understand it should work, in the same way that the NPCs move during combat they could also use items to heal.

Example:
NPCs health falls below XX%
NPC spends 5ap to flee (with a XX% chance of success)
NPC spends 5ap to heal (using a potion or food)
-Player's turn again

+1 nice (but not new one *...maby in this time someone hear those ...... *) ideas here, i really hope that we will see fleeing and item using enemies in AT . :twisted:

Me too! This would be a great addition to the game!
