I have an idea that I hope have been posted.

How about a shop that trades only in legendary/Extraordinary items? Hear me out. You cannot purchase these items with gold. Maybe you can acquire a certain valuable item that is only used for this shop (maybe something like a Oegyth Crystal).

A player can trade in their excess SRoV or other legendary/Extraordinary item, and get this special form of currency. Now the catch is there should be a big drop off in return value, say 1/10. For example, a SRoV costs 10x, but when you trade in a SRoV you only get 1x. So you'd have to trade in 10 SRoV's just to get enough currency to get the SRoV back.

Point is, people can make use of their excess, unused legendary/Extraordinary items for ones they do not yet have.

What do you guys think?

Maybe it should be made so you can trade Legendary items for legendary items and Extraordinary items for Extraordinary items.

That would definitely differentiate between the two, that might be an idea. But that might require either another shop, or another unique form of currency, one for exceptionals and one for legendaries.

Drachmas and Doubloons?

Well we already have gold coins. Make them like platinum and titanium.

Souls? I have no problems trading those for a RoL. Especially the soul of that one thief that keeps trying to rob me on my way to Fallhaven...

Trading L&E items for souls... IMO this is "on topic " and a new idea. i like it

Well.... Trading "souls", to me, seems to be a bit beyond the presented world of Andor's Trail. I would be much more interested in trading something like an Oegyth crystal or similar item for the currency to trade for legendary/exceptional items.
