When given the task for the Hardening potion Lodar asks for 2 Aruli skins and the infectious claw of some monster.
In the Quest log it lists it as another Defensive potion for 2 Aruli skins and 5 bones.
In my circumstance I had all the items for the other special potions.
I also had the 2 Aruli skins and numerous bones but no infectious claw. ( I have claws just not sure if right ).
The Lodar dialog still gives the Hardening potion task with the "I'll go find that" response. but it lists the Quest log as being completed, without obtaining the Hardening potion.

I acquired the claws to complete the Hardening potion and it gave the correct response and potion. So I presume the quest completed bug is related to having the Aruli skins and bones but wrong or no claws as mentioned. (Just lost knowledge from my ancient DOS programing days).

New to the boards here as well, but a fan of the game.

Another problem with the Lodar's Potions quest is that after you give him the Spotted Hornbeam fungas the quest drops into "completed quests", even though to truly "complete" the quest you still need to bring him the other items to create the new potions. For those of us with poor short term memory, it makes it a little more difficult to have to go into the quests, show completed quests and find the Potion quest to see the list of items we need to take back to him to make the new potions. Can you "continue" the quest, even if the reward is limited (say, 100xp?) just so it will stay in the "uncompleted" quests for easy reference.

Or add to the discription of the items "needed to make a potion'

In the quest update it actually tells you what you need to make the new potions, the only problem is that it's under "completed" quests, even though that needy, hard to find jerk is still asking for more stuff.

Don't know if this is a bug or I am missing something. I have 2 arulir skins, about 55 bones and quite a few irdegh claws. Lodar still won't give me the hardening potion. Given the inconsistency between whether I need bones or claws I brought both (on my second time through). The main thing I am unsure of is whether an irdegh claw is an infected claw. If not what creature drops an infected claw?
