The problem with this combination is that the RoL's 5AP cost trumps the DoSP's 4AP, thus you only 2 get 2 attacks/round. Or 3 attacks/round with JoF and Combat speed.
DoSP loses a lot of its attraction with this combination

The main combo I'm using now while grinding for the GoW, is the Whirlwind Axe and Sword of Shadow's Rage.

Since the creatures in the cavern mostly die with one hit, the 2 weapons that give the player a useful condition seem more valuable than inflicting anything on the something just to kill it in the next hit.

The Balanced Steel Sword dual wielding with the skill points and proficiency really adds up to a high AC. with the two skill points in dual wield, and one in specialization, your AC goes up 64%, not including whatever plus you gain from removing a shield that had a negative AC.

Bit I still love the xul'viir my ad is 28-46 lol but my AC is in the high 280%

it depends on you fighting style:
3x Attacks each 5th Attack is a crit. 0-3 Life per hit + 3 Life at the end.
4x Attacks each 4th Attack is a crit.

i don't have to heal the last days i'm playing, since i have the marrowtain necklace, my build is perfect, maybe in later game it changes.. but healing is every time good.

i'm going grind for a second RoL and a second ROLS now, happy hunting!

Most of the time, two brutal clubs (bought in Loneford). For my level 52 character, they do damage of about 25 to 75, with a 20% effective critical chance and x3 multiplier. I love to see those hits for 200+ damage. Things with high damage absorption should not be fought with daggers.

I have Dual Wield level 2, which is a prerequisite to me. I didn't even try it until I got to level 2.

I have a RoL and a Chaosreaper, so I've messed around with them. Chaosreaper + BSS is a good combo on things hard to hit, like spiders. I use the RoL sometimes when I want to recharge. I've been keeping my eyes open for a weapon that complements it. The Defender's sword at the Crossroads is the best you can buy, I think. I'd like to see a 5AP weapon with high damage.

But now I'm thinking that I might have to go kill some more Kazaul imps.

I'm considering remaking a blackwater poison dagger and barbed dagger, but I'm too lazy to make that build; The first time I tried, I deleted it by the time it got to level 5, to start on a skullcrushing DR build called Golem.

It's hard to build a build with only 1 AD.

But still, the idea behind the dual wield I had should work nicely in theory;
It had a lot of bc and ac, but absolute 0 AD. In theory, that allows it to block every hit while slowly bringing down the enemy with lowhanded poison and wounds... I called it Untouchable, after its theoretical bc stat.

Balances steel swordx2 on non crtiable things w CS 2 and 3/3 sword proficienct and 2/2 Dual wield (waiting for 45 for specialization)
The acc is 314 or something insanely high w almost 40-50 dmg w my gear/skills
3/3 light armor helps save my bc aswell with minimal pts intl base bc stat (its ovsr 100)

For crit able mobs....
Stack crit gear and DoSP and offhand flagstone pride
Crit skill is like 64 ~ total crit chance is 30% maybe 31% need the other 2/3 dagger proficiency but wow is it killer w a 4 swing build
