under the bridge

Could this be a hack? Isolate the walkable part of the over-the-bridge path from the walkable part of the under-the-bridge path, so it is not possible to walk from under the bridge to on top of the bridge without leaving the map. For example a north-south path leads under the bridge, while a west-east path leads over the bridge, canyon walls prevent you from switching paths. Copy the map. Edit the bridge tiles on one map, so one map has them as object and the other as above. Now integrate one map in the worldmap the normal way, the other as a 'cave'. The only difference that can be noticed is that the world-map does not show up at the map inserted as a cave, otherwise they look identical.

Something similar has been proposed before. I'd like to experiment with Oskar's new stuff to see if it can be implemented that way.

Ah, the proper way, I guess that's also an option :D
