What kinds of set ups do you use on your new player?

I have a Critical Damage set and a Damage Reduction Set.

..many differend gears like:
-high damage against DR something like Gutsplitter
-many attack against pretty easy enemyes something like quick strike dagger or crit hit able weapon
-dr items against monster whit many attack but low max damade max
-high dr items , etc..

Probably the thing I enjoyed most about not leveling up for my first 18M+ XP was the constant challenge to find the right gear for the battle at hand. Do I go with a high damage weapon like Gutsplitter and +AC equipment to try to make the kill before being hit? Or should I go with higher BC/DR to take the hits while I occasionally strike a small blow? Having very low base AC/AD/BC/HP made for some fascinating gear sets. I miss that as I've progressed. Hopefully there are as-yet-undiscovered monsters who can provide the same experience for higher-level heroes.

Tristian: Trying to beat everything at level 1 really makes you look at the available gears stats twice.

One that i always looked over until trying the level one challenge was the Boots that lower your Movement cost by 1, using those boots and the Villain's Armor really helped get me out of some sticky situations.
