DotSP selling price

I just noticed that the selling price for the DotSP (to Lodar, if that makes any difference) is 13gp. That can't be right. If it is right, I am willing to pay a 100% premium on the going price for a DotSP if anyone would like to sell me one. I could use two of them :D

This is not a bug. The price is that low to deter you from wanting to sell it. There are many other items priced this low too.

OK, thanks for the info. I've now finished all of the currently available quests, and this is the only Extraordinary item I've seen with a selling price this low. The price for the Gleaming claymore of ruin does also seem low at 1604 gp, but at least it's not a mere 13gp.

IMO, that's a strange way to deter someone, and such a low price is not realistic for such an obviously valuable item. it would be better to just give the player a very strong warning; stronger than the one you currently get if you try to sell an extraordinary item. I think it would also be better if the warning came from the NPC you are selling to, rather than just a dialogue box. It would have to kick you out of the buy/sell dialogue to do that, but that would make the warning more effective. For the most valuable items the player could even get two such warnings. If they sell it after that, they deserve any later regrets they might have.

A somewhat related question: is there a reason that the Greataxe of shattered hope is only classified as rare? It seems like a pretty nice weapon to me, and I believe there's only one possibility to get it.

The Great ax of shattered hope is categorized as rare simply because of its drop rate. You can loot multiples.

According to here: http://andorstrail.irkalla.cz/itemlist. ... xe_shatter it is only dropped by The Guardian of the Bridge (with a 100% drop rate), and once I killed him he didn't come back. Is this not correct?

I was thinking of the "Axe of fear", but technically I'm correct.
Its only possible to loot one because it was dropped by a boss. if the intention was to only be able to loot one of these, shouldn't this be re-categorized as extraordinary?

Unfortunately there is no connection between boss drops and extraordinary items. In fact, nothing can be both. Boss drops should be marked as ”rare”, though.

Actually, many unique items are marked as extraordinary, while they are boss drops and not 1:1000 drops.
DotSP, Serpent's hauberk, woodcutter feather hat are some of them...
That's why in my quest i currently marked boss drops as extraordinary.

None of those are ”extraordinary” items, just rare. The legendary and extraordinary items are all listed in the thread by that name in the Game Discussion forum.
