you get 2 hp per round, for 12 rounds....but there is a 10% chance of food poisoning with raw meat....this is just what it states...so it heals over time, kinda like regeneration.
This is one of the major changes... Currently (in 0.7.0) any food product will heal you "over the time" not instantly like potions will still do.anurulz wrote:i started playing recently..can anyone tell me, with the latest update on jul 24, how exactly does the item "meat" work now..previously it gave outright 12 HP,now it talks of "sustenance"..i really dnt get it..
no prob, anurulz wrote:thanx for the info..so its a toss actually..it heals u now for total 24 health points instead of the earlier 12, but now its slower..plus the food poisoning is a pain..
Nope. No stacking.anvil wrote:Interesting. If you eat 2 meat, do you get 4 points per round?
Thats true, but there are foods that heal your 4 points per round and while in battle you get those poits for everyround +if needed more you can use healing potion for gaining more hp.Antison wrote:Nope. No stacking.anvil wrote:Interesting. If you eat 2 meat, do you get 4 points per round?
When I eat a well-balanced meal, I get individual benefits from the each of the components of the meal. It seems that there should be stacking by combining multiple food groups, i.e.: drink + bread + meat + veggies + fruit. This would reflect the advantages of calcium, starches, proteins, antioxidants, vitamins, etc.12Cory wrote:I'm in a love/hate relationship with the new way meat and bread and the other foods give you sustenance over time.
It's nice sometimes because you can keep getting health while fighting, but sometimes you truly need a quick boost of HP if someone gives a critical hit.
