Lodar's Cave Swarm Issues

Been saving skill points for this particular reason :mrgreen: Besides cleave is there a good skill to have to counter the ghosts in Lodar's cave? I'm not sure I want to spend 6 points to get cleave 2 since I plan to get dual wield and dual wield specialization 8-)

Cleave would probably help the most, second to cleave would be Evasion.

I was thinking the same thing but would Evasion of 4 with an increase of 20% be enough to do hit and run? Would it work with just 3 or less points?

I planning on future proofing my character for future updates I need some ideas on how to maximize my skill points.

3 points in Evasion makes it so the only way monsters can attack you first is if they move to the square you are on. Since monsters cannot move diagonally, if you are standing at a diagonal then they cannot attack first (unless they move twice). However, swarming monsters are more likely to make their way towards you and attempt to move onto the square you are on than standard monsters. 3 points also boosts your chance to flee from 80% to 95%.

A 4th point in Evasion will simply increase your chance to flee from 95% to 100% which can be useful but is, in my eyes at least, not as important as the first 3 points in Evasion.

Cleave is more useful the lower your AP attack cost is. With a 2 AP weapon, 2 points in Cleave give an additional 3 attacks whereas with a 6 AP weapon you only get one more attack. A 4 AP attack cost along with 1 point in Cleave also gives zero benefit.

What your saying makes sense fiernaq. Looks like I need to get 12 points to get Evasion 3, Cleave 2 and Dual Weapon 2 plus Dual Weapon Spec.

hard Hit 1 (Prereq)
hard hit 2 (Prereq)
Weapon accuracy 1 (Prereq)
Weapon accuracy 2 (Prereq)
Duel Wielding 1
Duel Wielding 2
Evasion 1
Evasion 2
Evasion 3
Evasion 4 (Optional, but is useful for when you get mobbed)
Weapon Pro 1 (is unlocked with a quest)
Weapon Pro 2
Weapon Pro 3
I count 15. But I might have a few skills leveled up higher than you want to go to at this time

Currently at level 80. If I base my skills on your list, I'd need to be 100. I'm currently in troll town so hopefully, I can do it by mid January :mrgreen:

Got to 90 so 10 more to go 8-)

Currently grinding in Lodar's Cave to maximize aggro mobs :geek:

Success :mrgreen: Level 100 at last with a million gold in my war chest :lol:
