Early Game Gold Farming Spots?

Title says it. Where are they. If you would share a secret, I would read a pm. If there is a generally known spot that I am missing please link to the thread because I didn't find one. I have a level 10 (its in the veins quest) but basically new. I have about 200 gold. I want about 15 k. How to do please

I have my preference mostly due to proximity and the ability to be careful and retreat with minimal threat

The snake cave south of the starting town, meat is overpriced if you ask me, but don't change it or I will have to find another method

How many weeks to grind 400 meats?
My goal in this is to see how fast I can get the JoF. Perhaps that 2k sharp dagger. That way as I find l/e equipment I just replace instead of rethink.

I found between gold pickups and meat drops I could get from 300 to 500 gold per run. Doing a run, selling and sleeping (assuming you ran away when too injured) takes only 5 minutes or so

Edit : after 5 runs all the way to end and back followed by a rest and then another run....

I made about 800 ( I think it was 775/778 )

Definitely not the gold farm I am looking for.

At level 10 there isn't really a whole lot of good places yet. I think the wild boars just to the east of Crossglen and then up towards Crossroads Guardhouse still have a chance to drop some leather boots that are worth about 100g each but there was a big discussion about that a while back and they may have reduced the drop chance.

If you don't mind a challenge, the Flagstaff Prison is probably the highest gold giving area for a character near your level plus they drop health potions and one of the best swords in the game.

Otherwise, meat farming is the way to go early on and the snake cave really does have the highest concentration of meat dropping enemies that is also close enough to town for you to easily hit up a bed in between runs.

Thank you both. If this is the limit it is the limit. i just didnt want to be monumentally naive about so basic a topic so early on.

i dont use potions at all on any of my builds ( nor do i allow deaths )
i believe that given the skills and equipment available pot usage is really just a gold sink.

For Lvl 1-10 from crosslgen go east kill rabid pups from there south kill pups from there west kill snakes then north back to crosslgen rest an repeat.
For Lvl 11-15 from crosslgen go east kill rabid pups from there south kill pups from there west kill snakes then south kill boars and foxes then south kill foxes and wolves then east kill wolves back to nearest rest.
15-20 flagstone prison
20-I would say from then on backwater mountain.
