The serpents hauberk is the best chest armor in the game. 2 damage resistance, 8 critical, lots of block... It's a big all arounder! Perfect for everyone.

EDIT

Oh yeah, ninjas are the optimal build for concussion. The defensive build is good for taunt...

Try some more builds.

What I think I did wrong is that I sticked with IF 1

Increased fortitude gives you free health points every level. :mrgreen:

Increased fortitude is generally considered to be the most overpowered and unbalanced skill (next to hard hit at the other side of the usefulness spectrum).

You should save your skills points a few levels earlier just for the increased fortitude.

Increased fortitude is not applied retroactively. :o That means that the sooner that you get the skill, the more useful it is and the better off you are.

;) The skill effectively eliminates the usefulness of putting level up points into 5 health. ;)

It is that useful. It's even essential for most builds.

:( To be blunt Carrot00, your build is a massive failure for neglecting the power of increased fortitude. :(

Yeah, I just realized that while playing. Was trying to rush concussion and forgot about my survivability.

Maybe I'll focus on evasion instead. What do you think?

The most evasion that you should get is 4 skill levels.

The reason is that you have a default 80% success rate when fleeing from a battle.

Every level of evasion adds 5%.

5 * 4 = 20 + 80 = 100

You could get more just so baddies don't initatate the encounter... Maybe you should get it because you are EXTREMELY VULNERABLE! It may help in hit and run tactics. Try it, I have no experience with it.

Well, that's overstating it for sure. The next available level where he could get IF2 is 36, in which case he has lost 16HP compared to getting it at level 20. 16HP is not a deal breaker. Some people never get more than IF1, and concentrate on getting other things. High HP is certainly useful, but it's not the only way to create a powerful build.

I'm gonna quote my buddy Fiernaq here, because I think he makes a great statement about evasion. I found this in another thread, but you can find many topics on this with a search.

Ok so I'm gonna get 3 evasion after I get concussion.

The question is, does everyone recommend to put points to IF at level 36?
I'm thinking of going crit + evasion in the future.
