antidote quest improvement required?

So I need your help again: ;)
When I went back to good ol' Fallhaven I visited once again the store of the potioner living there.
I have to pay him 50 gold and a gland and one piece of animal hair for each antidote against food-poisoning. This quest was created to make the starter levels a little bit easier because since v.0.6.12 you could be inflicted with food-poisoning.

So do you think the quest would need to improved?
My enhancement would be: You only need to bring the potioner a gland and one piece of animal hair for 5 potions and pay him 250 gold? Also feel free to suggest the improvements you would make.

yeah i love the idea, is annoying make one antidote we can also make 10 potions

250 Seems like a lot to me.. Especially at early game.. Maybe the components and the gold for the first time and then after that he gives you the potion for just the components or just the gold..

Ok I agree. I would do it like in the "Lodars potions" quest: you only need to give him the components once.

Edit: maybe the price should be lowered as well to maybe 125?

But feel free to suggest other values. :)

I would agree with only having to bring the components once, but then how about increasing the number of components required? Two poison glands instead of one, and add a rat tail. A price of 50gp per potion is reasonable. If you only have to bring the components once, I suggest just allow the player to buy as many potions as they want.

What about this way (though I don't know, if it is technical possible):
Bring him a poison gland and some animal hairs and he makes 10 potions, that go into potion makers inventory.
Each potion will cost you 50 gold. If his stock is empty, you'll have to bring items again.

My ideas:
- Ask for more items (10 each) and get 5 potions for free
- The antidote becomes available at shop for 50gp each. 10 available. Not yet possible but will be in the very near future.
- If you bring 5 poison glands afterwards, you have a dialogue option for a discount (5 potions for 150gp instead of 250). This is repeatable forever.

The shop availability will be implemented by replacing the potion maker by a clone that has an expanded droplist. I need to complete the code for replace areas yo affect map objects. It's started but not completed.

Thanks for sharing your ideas! :D Seems like the quest the quest should be improved.
Well I have to admit I like Zukero's idea most. I will include this idea when the code is finished. ;) But don't feel stressed Kevin.
