What's going on with the cave burrower cave in the green maz

I just battled down to the 3rd level. Where does this cave lead? Are there any cool drops? Should I avoid it and keep going to Lodar's?
The 3rd level is the last one and as far as I remember there's nothing special (now).
But the description of the massive stone plate at the very end of that dungeon hints
that there could be something in the future that is not yet developed.
Just go there once for fun and then leave this cave alone until some later version of
the game is released.
