Arghest's minor grammar issue

[3343] conversationlist_prim_arghest.json:arghest_9 has:
"Yes, I rent it. I stay there to rest when my shift ends."

Present tense makes no sense in the first sentence, when
he says in the second, that he's used to rest in this room.
Shouldn't it be "rented"?

(Asking mainly due to how to translate it correctly)

It is "rent" in the sense that he currently rents the room (perhaps "Yes, I currently rent it." would be clearer). "Rented" would tell you that he rented it at some point in the past, but would tell you nothing about the current rental status of the room.

(In German translation I'll suggest to use perfect tense)
